OH, in case you haven't seen enough..

Here is another romper, again for a steal of 14 dollars. Forever 21 apparently, can't stop, and won't stop, producing the cutest and most summery rompers imaginable. So every time you walk into the store you are bombarded with cute one-piece outfits, at an awesome price you can't refuse!

This other black and white number with hot pink accent is from last season, but I was able to find a couple cute alternatives that will serve the purpose ;)

Blue & Cream (Most similar)
Zulily (Also similar, less expensive than above)
BlueFly (Different Colors Option)

Tie Dye & Ombre

All in shades of the prettiest blues. You know how so many people say that their whole closet is one color, or they only feel as though they wear black? My closet color is blue. I gravitate towards it, and anything with blue tie-dye, I'm an ever BIGGER sucker for!

The below maxi dress is a LOVE from last year, but Forever 21 thankfully has another version this season that I am just as impressed with!

Alternatives:

Next, is this beyond perfection tie dye romper from Target that was literally love at first sight.

Last, but certainly not least is the ombre trend, which is perfected in this maxi skirt.

Again, love at first sight and perfect for all the summer nights to come. Below are also some alternatives I've found :):

Don't miss these trends, this is one bandwagon you don't want to bypass ;)

Another Day, Another Romper..

This one is a steal at only 18 dollars. I've been vying for a denim romper for the past few months and finally scored this number from Forever 21. While it only has the feel of a a denim romper, it is super soft and can still be dressed up for a date night, or worn to the cabana bar on vacation as a cover up. Personally, I love it for either option!

Another Day, Another Romper

While shopping for a bachelorette party dress last week, I stumbled on this adorable floral romper from H&M. I normally don't own a whole lot of red, but as soon as I saw this romper, with the perfect shade of red, and black and white accent flowers; I knew I had to get it. This romper is a steal for under $18 dollars, and will surely not disappoint your romper collection!

It is lightweight, easy to throw-on-and-go, and has an adorable cut out in the back. Now if that doesn't make you want to run out and buy it, look at the pics again ;)

Xoxo,
Happy Friday You Chic Ladies!

You are one fineapple ;)

So I had been eyeing the super adorable pineapple tank from ILY Couture for some time, but sometimes the fit of the tank made me nervous towards ordering, as well as how the quality of the tank would pan out. While the price isn't outrageous in comparison to some of the other cute pineapple tanks floating around right now, what ended up having me press the purchase button was a 30 percent off sale from ILY Couture a few weeks ago.

However, after all that paranoia, when I received this tank I was a happy girl! The fit was perfect; a little oversized but how I typically like them to be (I ordered a size large). The tank is a cotton racer-back and is fitted in all the right places. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and if you're in love with this pineapple fad as much as me, you won't pass on this shirt either :)

Also! Check out their SUPER cute pineapple mug; I mean this shop is a one stop shopping trip to stock up on the cutest pineapple gear for summertime.

You Can Never Shine Too Bright

One of my favorite trends leading up to the warmer months focused on colors that screamed, "The brighter the better!" From shoes, to shorts, handbags, to accessories; if it was bright or electric neon, I wanted it!

I went shopping for shorts a few weeks ago, finally went into Jcrew to figure out my sizing, and stumbled in on a day when they were all 25% off. My. Lucky. Day. I went with my usual size, and being pleasantly surprised; they fit PERFECTLY! I got my shorts with a 3" inseam (choosers luck I guess), and ended up with two different shades of green that I love; but this neon pair I'm highlighting today..well you just can't go wrong with them. They're super comfortable, perfect for a day of errands, or a casual day milling about, but either way you shouldn't want to miss out! Plus, style them with a pair of these amazing fringe sandals and you can't go wrong ;)

Disclaimer**: The pair I am choosing is not available on line it seems but I linked similar colors and the link to the shorts to retrieve the item number in case you want to check in stores!

Bohemian #OotD

For the outfit I featured on Instagram today, I was channeling some serious bohemian vibes, and it was the perfect day to do it. A high of 90ish degrees, the perfect breeze, and these new gladiators on my doorstep completed the look. Today was a day for errands; oil change, grocery run, etc. but these shoes passed the test. They might look intense, or potentially uncomfortable, but aside from the awe of finally scoring the perfect pair, I barely felt like I was wearing shoes. On a ninety degree day, with straps up and down your legs, that speaks volumes!

This top (pictured below) was another WIN! I fell in love with this top in the store and after assuming I needed a large, found they were sold out in that size. So I went home, looked up the top online, but sadly found they were sold out too. So when I went back a week or so later, I checked again on a whim and they had a large; SCORE! Come to find out, this little miss needed a medium, and walked away with my first off the shoulder, WIN! I am personally very broad shouldered so this look is one that takes effort and dedication on my end, but my efforts finally paid off when I found this gorgeous little piece, and for under $25; ya can't beat it!

**Disclaimer: This top is currently no longer available so I am linking similar other styles that have the same look :)

Last, but certainly not least are my ivory crochet shorts; a piece I think is a staple for any girls closet. They are super easy to dress up or down, and you will get SO much wear out of them, PROMISE! I scored this pair to replace mine from last year from Target. They are super comfortable, and will easily be a go to all summer long.

Pop Of Color!

Insert hashtag's here: #neons #brights. All the rave right now, in every store I walk into, or every site I browse, are the neon hues. Bright shades of pinks, yellow, green, and more are making a statement. I had been on the hunt for a neon bag for some time (probably since December when I was struggling through winter), until one day I went exploring on Henri Bendel to look at the Jetsetter backpack. I was scrolling down and BAM! there it was. Perfection in a convertible backpack/handheld satchel that would be the perfect companion throughout the summer, and definitely on my fast approaching honeymoon :)

The neon pink maxi skirt I also am wearing, above, is a style steal at $15, and will be perfect for on the go, happy hour, or for a stroll on the beach this summer.

But it doesn't end there; lucky for you! JCrew is also on the bandwagon and have a pair of fierce neon green shorts available, in the exact pair I have featured below!

Last, but definitely not least, are my neon pink Nike running shoes. I spotted these kicks from a mile away, and lucky for me was in the market for a new pair. Kohl's never disappoints and I scored my size online, picked them up in stores, and have been in high gear ever since! I promise you, you'll be motivated to work out simply because of how cool they are ;)

Do a Little Dance..

In the most perfect sundress I've (you'll) ever put on. Seriously. From the time I slipped on this little number, it fit perfectly in every way possible; a rare find these days with all the different trends and fads with most articles of clothing. Rarely do I try on clothes and they fit perfectly, the first time, with the size I chose first. But behold; this sundress is my lucky find for the time; and I'm NOT complaining :)

I broke out this dress for the first time this past weekend for a local wine festival close to my parents, and I'm so glad I chose this as my outfit of choice because it was a HOT one ya'll! I couldn't help but spin and twirl for my little sister, photo taker (she taught me a neat trick to get the perfect shot too ;))

Inside fact: record yourself spinning and twirling, pause the movie, and then pick and choose your still photos you like of yourself ;)

Diclaimer**: Don't be put off by the straps; I was confused at the beginning too when I first put this dress on, but the print is to die for, and for under $40, it's not enough to put it back on the rack! You can either sew it, if you're handy enough, or get it altered by a professional; if not!

RUN into your local Victoria's Secret PINK because this beauty isn't sold online, and you DON'T want to miss out on this little number.

Romper Love

I love a good romper as much as the next girl, and this year I've lucked out with some serious steals so far. Rompers are convenient (until going to the bathroom), perfect for on the go, and make outfit decisions so much easier. You won't be surprised either when I say that many of them can often be perfect for dressing up or down, and over the summer there are sure to be many occasions with a necessity for either, or :)

The best thing to come from this post is my information for you regarding this tropical print romper; pictured above. I haven't seen it again on Hautelook, where I originally bought it, and even with the original brand name I haven't been able to find it ANYWHERE. But Shoptiques recently stocked it, so you are in LUCK! But don't wait too long ;)

Time to Get Your Smock On...

This season, smocked shirts are everywhere, and this blue bohemian version from H&M doesn't disappoint. It is lightweight while still being somewhat warm with long sleeves, and the print is on point for the upcoming summer months. Throw on a tassel necklace, aviator sunnies, and a tassel clutch and you're ready for the day!

**One note to be made is that this top has a tight elastic band along the bottom, but it still tends to ride up. So if you're easily annoyed by things like that I'd recommend passing on this shirt; otherwise a tank underneath is a quick fix :)

I got this while it was on sale a couple weeks ago, and while it isn't currently on sale anymore; for under $25 dollars this is still a great deal! Don't miss out :)

The World's Greatest Chambray

Shopping for the perfect chambray button down shirt has become one of my greatest obstacles in life, but when I stumbled upon this button down of perfection at target, I knew I had stumbled upon a winner. It is the perfect blend of material; super soft and somewhat silky, a great length, and for under $25 dollars, you can't beat it!

**Disclaimer: This had an odor to it, but after washing on delicate, with cold water and spraying normal perfume on my way out the door, the odor has since decreased and disappeared altogether :) But be prepared, and don't let it deter you if you find yours does too.

The Prettiest Little Slip-Ons I Ever Did See!

I've never owned a style of shoe quite like these that I snagged from J Crew Factory; mainly because I never thought I could pull off the style, or that I'd be able to squeeze my foot into them! But when I saw this print, I kept coming back to them every time I received an email egging me on by sales. So finally when 40% and free shipping rolled around, I was sold, and prepared to take the risk.

But I'm so glad I did. Yes, at first I had a minor panic moment when I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to get them on, but as I wear them they only get more comfortable, and the print is to die for! So while I can't promise you you won't have a minor panic attack too, I can suggest that you size up, and have a little faith..these slip-on's are worth it!

Who Wears Short Shorts..

Okay, not really. But I am feeling some serious love for the cotton short fad that is making its comeback after last summer too. Not only are they super comfortable, but they are also so easy to dress up, or down, and haven't you figured out how much I LOVE that, yet? :)

While yes some pairs are ill fitting, or can be too short due to the material, it's just important to remain cognizant of that just like when buying any pair of shorts. While I'm 5'7; pretty average for women, I'm all legs. Luckily, I haven't run into too many issues yet when it comes to wearing these shorts, and have yet to find many pairs I DON'T like. That's the only issue I've really had ;)

What are YOU waiting for?

April Dress Round-Up

Through the month of April I posted quite a few dresses; both sundress and maxi, that I wanted to provide you the details for in case you liked any of them for yourself. The summer months are a busy time of the year, and dresses are perfect because they can typically be dressed up or down, with the addition or subtraction with just a few accessories. Each one that I have posted are great examples. Wedding, BBQ's, family get together's, boat trips, resort wear..you name it!

LUCKILY, for you guys, ALL of these awesome dresses (with the exception of the tie-dye) are still available for purchase (how often does that actually happen?!). So get shopping before they're gone! For a little extra incentive? They're all under $40 :)
